Yes, I ship characters and create couples which comes stranger from a day to a day. There is so much complaining about couples, and there's also couple wars which I don't understand. There are many kind of complainers.

People who support only canon couples

If someone's pairing, hmm, let's say Ariel with Jim Hawkins, people say "What the heck is this?! Eric x Ariel is the canon! You can't make them apart!" If someone likes that pairing, who are you to prevent them from doing it?

If someone's pairing Sonic with Shadow, they say "Sonic is not gay!" So what? This is fanfiction, and in fanfiction your imagination can run free. And slashing doesn't change character's personality! Being gay is not a personality trait! Pairing character with someone from same gender doens't make the character more or less out-of-character than pairing them with someone from different gender!

And message also to you, crakc shippers. If someone loves canon, don't force them to ship same ships than you do.

People who don't pair characters at all

Creepypasta fan sees pairings "Creepypastas are meant to be scary, not cute! Stop shipping them!" True, but it doesn't entitle you to bash other people's fanart. If they find pairings comfortable, let them do it. It doesn't kill you. And I'm also guilty for liking Creepypsta shipings.

And to shippers: Don't attact on them if they don't ship anything.

People who can't stand pedophilia, incest or threesomes

Someone sees Elsanna, Shadamy (I don't get how this is pedophilia) or InuyashaxKagomexKouga: "Eww! Bro/Sis, that's gross! Stop that imediattely!" Personally, I hate incest and pedophilia pairings, but I still respect that people who's drawing them. I pair StevensxTheresaxJulian. Only threesome I support. Quicksilver x Scarlet Witch are kinda cute couple, even though incest is not my cup of tea. In Ultimates they are a couple actually. Sonic.exe and BEN... Well, it's difficult to say is it pedophilia or not. BEN is in 12-years-old's body forever, because drowned 12-years-old, but he can be 18-years-old, or even over 20-years-old now! Edit: Jadusable Wiki confirmed he's 16.

People who likes yaoi/yuri and m-preg too much

Seeing NarutoxSasuke: "Eeeh, NaruSasu 4eva! :3"

So, shipping homosexual character with other character from opposite gender would make the maker of the video automatically a homophobe, but shipping heterosexual character with other character from the same gender is okay? I see double-standards there. If human's sexuality changes, it's just natural. It doesn't hurt them or you in a way or another.

And when someone says he/she doesn't like yaoi/yuri, they're homophobic, too? Hello, there's lots of persons on deviantART who hates yaoi and yuri without they're homophobes. Even gays and lesbians hate yaoi and yuri. So, why some straight guy/gal isn't entitled to do so?

I've never supported m-preg, because it's biologically impossible. But if someone's supports it, it's okay to me, as long as they don't piss me of.

People who don't understand each other

If someone says he/she hates Hans and Hanna, he/she's bashed. "It's really idiotic to hate a couple because of character." That logic doesn't work always. With that logic you would allow to your sister/brother to date with a drug addict. -_-

And it's also idiotic to call someone dumn, because he/she hates a Sonamy and likes Amy. It's his/her opinion, not yours.

I, for example, hate Katara (because she's annoying and her Finnish voice makes her even more annoying) and I still support Kataang. Why? Because Aang needs partner who's mature, that's why.

And how about oc creators and self-incert writers/readers? They're bashed as well. Nowadays Mary Sue and Gary Stue seem to bee synonym to oc. All oc's are not Mary Sues/Gary Stues. I have created oc's (one of my oc's is a dog actually) and they all have strengths and weaknesses like we have. And all self-incerst fans are not idiots. There's nothing bad on pairing yourself with a fictional character as long as you're not going to crazy about them. One Jeff the Killer fan told me that she loves Jeff the Killer x Reader stuff but she still wouldn't like to meet him in real life, because she knows he's a psychopath. Even I've made self-incerst fanart. Look:
