Dear film critics and annoying people, what's so wrong with dubs? Why children's movies get always bad rants if TV shows dubbed versions? Instead you'd complain "I cant hear Vincent Prize there!!11!", "Yukis enghlish voices uglie!!11!" or "That dub sux!!11!" you should think why we have dubs.

Do you know who are the target groups of the dubs? Children and illiterate adults. People in the world don't speak same language with you. Child for example, can find subbed movie really scary. Think yourself as a child watching, let's say, The Flight before Christmas in Finnish which is its original language, you would be really scared because you don't understand the plot and you hardly can read.

World is full of adults who can't read at all because of their disability or bad educating. There's 30 % illiteracy in United States and that's why people dub your precious Japenese cartoons, like Axis Powers Hetalia and Fruits Basket in English, dear otakus and weeaboos.

And Japan dubs everything, from live-action movies to video games, because everyone can't speak English, and their "letters" take lots of space.

I had a classmate who couldn't read at all. Everything, I repeat everything, must've been readen to her, because she had dyslexia, and it was worse than I have! So, is that right people like her should be tortured with subbed movies?

I prefer dubs over subs, because they're good-qualited and well-done, especially Disney movies in Finnish. (Some Ghibli movies' Findubs are crappy, because they try to mimic the original voices too hard, it's not natural.)

I watched one episode of Hetalia with Engdub and I must to say it was pretty good. I loved Japan's English voice, because his nationality came out even from his voice, the way he spoke was wonderful. America's voice was great, it sounded like a real American. Sonic X's Engdub was the best. The voices made characters sound different. I watched the one episode in Japanese and I thought "What the fuck is this shit!?!" I didn't know when Tails spoke or when Amy spoke, because they sounded too similiar.

I used :iconwingless-butterfly55:'s stamp base.

If you like the stamp, you're allowed to use it. It costs nothing.

I like English dubs and non-English dubs, whether it is animated or live action. Sure, live action dubbing is a bit tricky due to the lip reading, but there are good ones out there.
